NaPoWriMo : Day 5
Poetry Prompt: This prompt challenges you to find a poem, and then write a new poem that has the shape of the original, and in which every line starts with the first letter of the corresponding line in the original poem.
I thought about imitation, then about that bird that puts its own eggs in the nest of another to raise, then that movie about the never-ending suburb that Eisenberg was trapped in. Then I figured I should actually write a poem. About influence. Sure, why not.
I will be posting my poems here: linesbyleon.com/national-poetry-writing-month/ I hope you will drop by!
